Cooking Something Fresh in Your Tucson Kitchen with a Remodel

Let’s face it—we all get a little bored with our kitchens after seeing the same space every day. Seeing pictures of gorgeous kitchens online or on TV don’t help change the fact that your kitchen isn’t as astounding.

The biggest part of a kitchen remodel is updating the cabinetry, but replacing your kitchen cabinets can cost a fortune. As long as your cabinets aren’t falling apart, you can bring fresh life to your kitchen with some quick and simple changes that won’t dip into your grocery fund.

Painting your cabinets is one of the easiest ways to bring a change into your kitchen. Depending on the style you prefer, there are many options to achieve a great look. Whites, for instance, do great in creating a classic country kitchen while dark and bold colors can do wonders for a modern style. Bring in a splash of accent colors in the form of bowls, curtains, and toasters to tie the room together and make a cohesive kitchen.

Even just replacing the hardware can help make your kitchen look ripe for the picking. While a bag of a few drawer pulls and door knobs are cheap at the hardware store, they can look like a million bucks if you coordinate them properly in your kitchen.

If you have some cabinet space to spare, you can remove some of the doors of your upper cabinets. Paint the inside a nice complementary color to the rest of your kitchen and proudly showcase those antique bowls and beautiful teapot. Removing these doors, too, will help create an open feeling in an otherwise cramped kitchen.
